ABOUT ME
​I enjoy making things… friends, deals, dinner for my husband Dave and our five year old daughter Aaris, Play-Doh trees and Lego castles, cookies (when someone deserves a special treat)… painting, writing songs, poetry, children’s books, and... most recently, my first novel entitled, Unearthing Eve.

After 10 years of working in commercial real estate in Nashville, TN, I jumped off the corporate ladder and landed in my happiest place on earth… my home office that features built-in bookshelves that are tightly packed with my favorite works of fiction, young adult novels and a multitude of cookbooks, as well a writing desk that looks out over two large dogwood flanked windows.  And, that's where you will find me most days working on my latest blog post or my second novel, Unbecoming Jade.

When I'm not in my office writing, or in the kitchen cooking up something new and exciting for my family to eat, you will find me in my home art studio with my daughter, playing and exploring amidst colorful paint, canvas, brushes and palette knives.
